Shootout strikes again

For the last two weeks Wings fans have watched six straight losses with four coming from the skills competition that Ken Holland is not eliminating fast enough. Tonight was, for me at least, the most frustrating of the losses so far. Despite dominating possession (64.71%) and taking 71 shots attempts the Wings could only find a single goal. Despite leading late into the third a very weak call lead to Colorado's power play and a tie game, then we all knew the script after that. Wings get chances but can't finish, Wings dominate again in OT and finally act three, the Wings lose in a shootout. What is going on in Hockeytown?

Red Wings November Review

I apologize for the delay, but here is my review of the Detroit Red Wings in the month of November. One month ago the Wings entered November with a 6-2-2 record, 4th best in the league and on pace for just under 115 points. Fast forward 15 games and the Wings are 14-6-5 good for 3rd in the division.
